Went out on my new bike time trial route today, and it was an adventure. First, an old twat in a Skoda almost wiped me out on Usk Bridge. After I’d braked and skidded almost into his side, he drove off withut even looking back. Wish he had looked back. Tit.
Then I hit the traffic lights on the Chainbridge and they were red.
Then there was a traffic diversion.
So the 9.8 mile loop I’m using turned into an 11.7 mile run, averaging just over 17mph. A better average that the 9.8 I did a couple of weeks ago, at least (16.9mph)! Hoping to get back onto the normal loop next week, and I’m looking into purchasing some aero bars.
Watch out, Skoda man!
