My first wetsuit arrived yesterday!  A Poor Classic from TriUk, is smells rubbery.  I tried it on — took a while, but wasn’t as hard to get on as I was expecting — and frightened the kids.  And my wife.  It’s snug, as it should be, and I can’t wait to get out for a swim in it.  Hoping for this weekend, but will have to see a) what’s happening elsewhere, and b) where my nearest OW swimming venue is....

Just bought my first wetsuit!  An ex-hire suit from TriUk.  Really helpful guy on the phone took my measurements and confirmed the size I needed, so now I’m just waiting for it to land before heading off for my first open water swim.  I’m thinking of going here. Very exciting!  Hoping to get a few OW swims in this year before it gets too cold, then next year I’ll probably upgrade to a better suit for Ironman...
